Hamilton HIStory + HERitage is a unique exhibition and meeting space combining historical content (architectural, social and cultural) and new technology (mini-computers and flat screen monitors) to share the story of Hamilton. We are dedicated to celebrating the lives of the men and women who have helped to shape the city of Hamilton.

Although Hamilton boasts more civic museums per capita than almost any other city in Canada, it doesn’t have a museum dedicated to telling the story of the city itself. Hamilton HIStory + HERitage, housed on three floors of an historical commercial building erected in 1882, provides Hamiltonians and out-of-town visitors an opportunity to learn, to read, to meet, to share stories, and to discuss civic matters – all related to Hamilton.

Photographic and multi-media exhibitions change every two months.
